Discovered lost sacred text of Natsa III, the supreme sage of the Triad Cabal
with edits to replace indecipherable text...

      Quote Natsa:

...I thought of a visual that might help a little. Let's say this is your power, and your possible power. You're Amaranth, with a lot of chaos, and only a little evil. The top bar is your evil/good, and the bottom is your chaos/order. The 'x's mark where your power is at in each axis.

    |-NOT AMARANTH--|---AMARANTH----|---NOT AMARANTH--|

    < - Evil - - - - - - - - - - - - - - / - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Good - >
    |--------------------------------x------------------------------------|
    |----------------------|----------|----------|------------------------|
    ###-----------------##-------0--------##--------------------###

    < - Chaos - - - - - - - - - - - - / - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Order - >
    |-------------x-------------------------------------------------------|
    |----------------------|----------|----------|------------------------|
    ###-----------------##-------0--------##--------------------###

This is what you start your day off in. You are solidly in Amaranth, because one of your axis' is in the Amaranth range. (Which means the color of your society is the regular white.) Let's say you find a place that has monsters that have order and good, and spend a little time there, killing everything. Since they have order and good, you will gain chaos and evil. Let's say you spend about three turns there. This is what your axes will look like, after those three turns.

    |-NOT AMARANTH--|---AMARANTH----|---NOT AMARANTH--|

    < - Evil - - - - - - - - - - - - - - / - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Good - >
    |-----------------------x---------------------------------------------|
    |----------------------|----------|----------|------------------------|
    ###-----------------##-------0--------##--------------------###

    < - Chaos - - - - - - - - - - - - / - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Order - >
    |--------x------------------------------------------------------------|
    |----------------------|----------|----------|------------------------|
    ###-----------------##-------0--------##--------------------###

At this point, you'll notice that your evil/good axis is very close to leaving the Amaranth range, which means that your society color will be orange now. Nothing else changes. Let's say you spend a few more turns there, about three again.

    |-NOT AMARANTH--|---AMARANTH----|---NOT AMARANTH--|

    < - Evil - - - - - - - - - - - - - - / - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Good - >
    |-------------------x-------------------------------------------------|
    |----------------------|----------|----------|------------------------|
    ###-----------------##-------0--------##--------------------###

    < - Chaos - - - - - - - - - - - - / - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Order - >
    |---x-----------------------------------------------------------------|
    |----------------------|----------|----------|------------------------|
    ###-----------------##-------0--------##--------------------###

Okay, now you're fully out of Amaranth, as you can see above. If you're above 300 power at this point, you'll be locked out of your lodge until rollover. Your society color is black, and the game will tell you that you're Leaning: Eastern Star. If you're not above 300 power, you will be able to go to your lodge, but the lodgemaster will tell you that your deeds have removed you from your society, or something I can't quite recall right now. Since you're in Amaranth, you won't be able to see your percentages.

I don't think you will have much of a problem with the percentage thing, because it's hard to remain Amaranth as it is. Just make sure you end your turns in a non-Amaranth society, so that you can counter this problem of no percentages early on. That's easy enough to do. Just play turns in the same area, you'll move to a non-Amaranthine society eventually. (:

Hopefully this was more clear, and not a waste of your time.
