Trademark badge so you have your typo badge, and your bugfinder badges which both reward the players for their dilligence in finding things in the game. how about a trademark badge for suggestions that actually get installed into the game. obviously not for little things like new outfits, but maybe 1 badge for a new weapon idea, two for a new component in the game like ways to do things, and three for itom ideas. i realize that the flood of ideas might come rushing in just to get a badge, but it also might help those people that have ideas and never post them cause they think no one will care what they have to say. maybe if their is a carrot dangling they would give it a shot. just a thought. probably alot of work with new forms and all but it sounded good in my head:)
There are a lot of problems with the idea, though.
What if munk had the same idea fist and was planning on implementing it already?
What if you just suggest a change to an existing mechanic that turns out the be major?
What if other people had the same idea and got upset because you just happened to post it first?
What about the people who helped you hammer out the idea in the forums, and did just as much work as you? Do they all get badges too?
It all sounds like a headache.
