By posting here in the Typo/Grammar Thread you are paying the price of 1 Typo Ribbon for a moderator to review it and post the bug in your name. The old award was 2 Typo Ribbons for self submissions. Posting here avoids someone taking credit for your suggestion and also avoids negative scores for bunk/incorrect submissions. All self submissions, via the Bug Reporting Tools, regarding typos/grammar, from this point forward will be denied, whether or not they are valid submissions. As more are created... err discovered, they will be posted here. If you have any doubt about a word that "shocks" you, because of how abusive it is to the English language, then please look it up prior to posting it... Google is your friend.
Please don't suggest corrections for, or against, the Oxford Comma. The battle is still being waged and satiation of both sides has been achieved through simply avoiding the topic... Deal.
Your friend the pausis (..) and the ellipses (...) have invited their cousins the exclamtiellipses (!!!) and the pausexclamationis (!!) to abuse your grammatical senses. Expect to see them in use.
Any typos in forums posts are not reportable.
