UA Bug? I'm not sure if this is really a bug or not, but it seems a little skewed. Currently the UA is sitting at 3126, with an Order of 3071 and a Good of 55. Taking that into account, when I kill something, I would expect that I would take a loss on the Order side, and a slighter hit on the Good side, unless my understanding of the UA is wrong.
So what's the problem: let's go kill and sexor some stuff and see what we get.
Speedy Shack Rat: ES - GE: -2, OC: -2
Kill: Gain 1 Good, Gain 21 Order
Sexor: Gain 1 Evil, Gain 16 Order
Sneaky Shack Rat: ES - GE: -3, OC: -1
Kill: Gain 2 Good, Gain 20 Order
Sexor: Gain 1 Evil, Gain 17 Order
Pillhead Aqua Lab Scientist: Lumie - GE: 2, OC: 2
Kill: Gain 3 Evil, Gain 17 Order
Sexor: Gain 1 Good, Gain 18 Order
Robodolphin: Lumie - GE: 2, OC: 2
Kill: Gain 3 Evil, Gain 17 Order
Sexor: Gain 1 Good, Gain 18 Order
I know that the UA affect has been adjusted a bit, but I should be gaining Chaos on a kill and Order on a Sexor by the UA slant, shouldn't I? Right now the difference between killing and sexoring is only 5-7 points of Good/Evil, and I can afford the evil, so massive killing sprees have ensued.
If I, for instance, was trying to lose Order (so I could get back to Red where I belong), I'd basically be screwed.
If it's not a bug, then slap me around a bit and I'll shut up.
well, for one, your base numbers seem to be off. Speedy Shack Rat is base -3/-1, or 3 evil and 1 chaos. with UA at 3000+ Order, that modifies to -3/+2 (Good is balanced, so should have no effect unless it is ceil()'d instead of floor()'d) or 3 evil and 2 order.
Your dimit boost will do arcane things to your power gains that I should refresh my memory before commenting on them, but they likely are giving you boosts that compliment your society. As a Yang Order Illuminati, you are going to find it quite difficult to do *anything* short of trading or PvP that will do anything to lower your Orderliness. In this case, the recent lowering of the UA boost works to your disadvantage as far as swinging via NPC interactions. It makes the dimit boost quite powerful in comparison.
